Kindergarteners Shine at Annual Thankful Show
The Annual Kindergarten Thankful Show is one of the most anticipated events of the year at Golden Hill! Students have been preparing for weeks and today they finally got to show off their hard work.
“I showed my mom some of the dancing at my house,” said kindergartener Zhuri Ling. “She’s excited to see the show!”
One student shared that he felt afraid before the show, but teacher Rachel Brown said feeling nervous means that the students must care deeply about doing a good job. The students agreed and got ready to make their grand entrance.
Music teacher Kristin Risedorph shared her excitement and pride about the show before getting ready to lead the students in the numbers students prepared for their families!
Students performed a variety of Thanksgiving songs with big smiles and impressive choreography. They sang about being thankful for their families, home, school and more all while wearing head pieces made in art class just for the performance.
After taking their bows, students found their audience members and sat down to complete some holiday crafts. Congratulations to these students for a successful show!
