In honor of School Board Recognition Week, please join us in thanking the dedicated individuals who serve on the Florida Board of Education: President Rob Andrade, Vice President Robert Scheuermann, Stephen Caldwell, Lori Gorcsos and John Redman.
Gov. Kathy Hochul has declared the week of Oct. 16-20 School Board Recognition Week to commend school board members for their dedicated service to the children of New York.
The Florida Union Free School District is joining all public school districts across the state to honor local board members for their commitment to the Florida community and our children.
School Board Recognition Week is also a time to promote awareness and understanding of the important work performed by local school board members.
