Florida UFSD BOCES students win big at SkillsUSA state competition

This week 30 Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) students traveled to Syracuse, NY to participate in the New York State SkillsUSA competition held on April 28, 2023. The competition brought together the top CTE students from across the state to showcase their skills and compete in a variety of events.

We are proud to recognize two of our Florida Union Free School District students for their accomplishments and participation in the SkillsUSA competition.

Recognized for her strong leadership skills, Angelina Vargas was elected to a governing role for SkillsUSA for the upcoming year.  Angelina has been elected as Treasurer.

Nate Panuska, Photography Gold Medalist, earned top honors in his field.
