The federal program that provided free meals to all students during the last two school years has not been renewed for the 2022/2023 school year. Therefore, district families will transition back to paying for school meals.
Please note that there was a misprint in the 2022-23 school calendar. Meals for the 2022/23 school year will be at the cost of the student.
The prices for meals are as follows:
Breakfast is $2.15 for Golden Hill and Seward
Lunch is $3.35 for Golden Hill and $3.55 for Seward.
Free- and reduced-price meals are available to children who meet Federal guidelines. Applications are located in the center of the school calendar, that was mailed in early August, and on the district website. Only one application is needed per family. Completed applications should be returned to the Food Service Department.
If you haven’t already done so, please fill out a new 2022/2023 free or reduced application form which is located in the school calendar you received in the mail or on the District’s website. Everyone is encouraged to fill out an application. Applications can be faxed, mailed, or delivered in person. Do not email your application to the school. Please keep one copy for your records.
