School Meals

School Meals for the District will be served at S.S.Seward Institute beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

Breakfast and lunch will be available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-12 a.m.  Parents and Guardians will drive up to the Main Entrance, pick up meals and leave campus.  If your child has an allergy, please state that upon arrival.   This system will follow social distancing recommendations.

Academic Resources

Academic resources will be posted online. The District will be following guidance from the New York State Department of Education and tentatively plans to initiate remote learning Monday, March 23. There will be additional information sent out as it becomes available.

Building Hours

Starting Wednesday, March 18, the buildings will be closed except during school meal pick up.

Golden Hill Elementary March 16 Update: Chromebooks pickup schedule

Good afternoon everyone,

We hope you are doing well.

We are making Golden Hill available for student access to pick up  Chromebooks, (sign forms if needed) and/or classwork  on Tuesday, March 17. Pickup will be by grade in the cafeteria.

We need all to move as quickly and safely as possible. If you need access to any items of importance from a classroom/cubby please let one of our staff know when you arrive.  Pickup beyond tomorrow’s date is not guaranteed, as NYS has ordered all schools closed as of Wednesday.

We need your cooperation with the schedule below so that we can we abide by “social distancing” guidelines.  We may need to ask you to wait as people cycle through the building.

Chromebook and student items pickup schedule by grade level:

  •  Prekindergarten — 8:30-9 a.m.
  • Kindergarten — 9-9:30 a.m.  –
  • Grade 1 — 9:30-10 a.m.
  • Grade 2 — 10-10:30 a.m.
  • Grade 3 — 10:30-11 a.m.
  • Grade 4 — 11-11:30 a.m.
  • Grade 5 — 11:30 a.m.-12 noon

If you are unable to meet this schedule, we will reopen between 4-5 p.m. and provide you the same access.

We will make Seward available for student access to pick up needed items on Tuesday, March 17.  Some items may be on tables (by grade) in the lobby. Students should plan to take most, if not all, items from their personal and PE lockers.  Access to lockers beyond tomorrow’s pickup is not guaranteed, as NYS has ordered all schools closed as of Wednesday.

We need your cooperation in following the schedule that appears below so that we do not have too many people present at once. We may need to ask you to wait as people cycle through the building.  We are asking that you adhere to the “social distancing” guidelines that have been circulated.

Student items pickup schedule is by last name:

  • A-C — 9-9:30 a.m.
  • D-F —  9:30-10 a.m.
  • G-J — 10-10:30 a.m.
  • K-L — 10:30-11 a.m.
  • M-O — 11-11:30 a.m.
  • P-R  — 11:30 a.m.- 12 p.m.
  • W-Z — 12:30-1 p.m.

If you are unable to meet this schedule, we will re-open between 6-7 p.m. and provide the same access.
