Golden Hill employee tests positive for COVID-19; direct staff notified

Dear School Community:

On Wednesday, Dec.  2, we learned that an employee at Golden Hill Elementary tested positive for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). After consultation with the Orange County Department of Health, the staff who were in direct or proximate contact with the positive case were notified and were instructed to quarantine for 14 days from the last date of contact.

The most important things you can do:

  • Make sure your child is wearing a mask.
  • Make sure your child is washing his/her hands.
  • Keep your child home if sick.
  • Call your primary care provider if you or your child has symptoms of COVID-19.

Thank you for understanding that, due to medical privacy laws, we are not able to release the names of the individuals with COVID-19. We will continue to communicate changes and updates with you.
