On Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019 residents of the Florida Union Free School District will vote on a proposed $7.9 million capital improvement project.

Who can vote?
You are eligible to vote if you are a U.S. citizen, 18 years or older, a district resident for at least 30 days prior to the vote, and registered.
If you are registered to vote in general elections you are automatically eligible to vote in school elections. Residents who are new to the area or have not voted in the past four years must be pre-registered to vote in this election. Registration is available 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday on days when the District Offices are open, 51 North Main St., Florida. The last day to register for this vote is February 13, 2019. Proof of residency is required.
Applications for absentee ballots may be obtained at the Office of the School District Clerk. The application must be received by the District Clerk at least seven days prior to the special district election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or the day before the election if the ballot will be picked up at the District Office. Absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk by 5 p.m. February 20, 2019.
