The Florida Union Free School District takes pride in providing an educational environment that ensures students are continuous learners who can successfully embrace 21st century concepts and skills. Technology integration is achieved in accordance with the district’s approved outcomes, attributes, goals and is the products of district task forces and committee discussions. Through this mission, each Florida student is taught the necessary skills and concepts to become active, productive and positive contributing members of society.

The district’s Technology Plan provides detailed information about our technology goals, curriculum, resources, and infrastructure.

Use of the District’s Computer System and technology (DCST) is intended for
the purposes of education, school business, school operations, teaching, learning and duties. DCST includes the Internet (including online services and electronic communications); hardware, such as computers; software; networks; information systems; electronic/digital files; and storage of data/information. Florida’s free mobile app is available through the App Store and Google Play. Search “Florida UFSD” to find it

The Florida UFSD App is free and provides a convenient and efficient  way to receive news and information about district programs, students, and events.

The app enables the district website to run efficiently on smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. With the app users can quickly and easily navigate through news and events, access the staff directory, get directions to Florida schools, check sports schedules, view menus, and more. The mobile app also provides a gateway to Naviance, My School Bucks, Parent Portal, and the district’s Twitter feed.

Users can also choose to access information specific to Golden Hill Elementary or S.S. Seward Institute and can set it to receive only the alerts and push notifications they request.
